Create a timeless Ralph Lauren coastal look in your beach house with silver accents, vintage finds, seashell art, and soft blue decor. See the pieces I’m loving and get inspired to style your own elevated coastal space.

Designing a coastal home is all about balance—where relaxed textures meet timeless pieces and every corner feels both refined and lived-in. But if you’re anything like me, you don’t want just any coastal look… you want that classic, elevated style that feels collected and intentional.
That’s exactly what I’ve been leaning into with our new beach house—purchasing pieces that feel like they could live in a Ralph Lauren-inspired coastal retreat. Think polished silver, soft blues, vintage finds, and a touch of Americana charm.
Today I’m sharing a few of the pieces I’ve recently picked up to create that look—and how you can start building it in your own home.

Start with Classic Silver Accents
One of the easiest ways to elevate a coastal space is by incorporating silver.
I recently picked up a Ralph Lauren silver candle, and it instantly adds that refined, polished feel. It’s simple, but it makes a statement—especially when paired with other metallics or layered into a vignette.
I also found a few silver bowls that are perfect for styling on coffee tables, consoles, or shelves. They reflect light beautifully and add just enough shine without feeling overdone.
Tip: Don’t worry about everything matching perfectly—mixing different silver tones actually adds to that collected, lived-in look.

Incorporate Vintage Coastal Finds
Some of my favorite pieces are the ones with a little history behind them.
I found a vintage coastal tray at an antique store, and it’s one of those items that instantly tells a story. Vintage pieces keep your home from feeling too “store-bought” and give it that layered, designer feel. It grounds the space and adds character.

Add Texture with Seashell Art
Nothing says coastal quite like seashells—but the key is using them in a more elevated way. I picked up some vintage seashell art, and it’s such a beautiful nod to the ocean without feeling overly themed. The best part? This is something you can absolutely create yourself.
A piece of wood, a few collected shells, and a little creativity can turn into a meaningful, one-of-a-kind item for your home.

Bring in Soft Blues & Florals
To balance the silver and neutrals, I love bringing in soft blue tones.
I added a blue floral picture frame, and it’s the perfect way to introduce color while still keeping everything cohesive. It feels fresh, classic, and just the right amount of coastal.
Florals—especially in blue and white—are a staple in this style and help soften the overall look.

Don’t Forget Americana Touches
One of my favorite ways to make a coastal home feel timeless is by adding subtle Americana decor.
Think classic stripes, flags or pieces that hint at tradition and heritage. It pairs beautifully with coastal elements and gives that signature Ralph Lauren feel—elegant, but still relaxed.
It’s All About the Mix
The secret to this look isn’t any one piece—it’s how everything comes together.
Silver + vintage + coastal textures + soft blues + Americana accents.
It’s a mix that feels curated over time, not rushed or overly styled.

Stay Tuned for Styling Ideas
These are just the pieces I’ve been collecting so far—and I couldn’t be more excited about how it’s all coming together.
On our next trip to the beach house, I’ll be sharing exactly how we style all of these items throughout the space—layering them into shelves, tables, and cozy corners.
So if you’ve been wondering how to pull it all together, stay tuned… I’ll be walking you through it step by step!
